Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher Aid to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices, mainly in assisting the teacher and the curriculum head.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assist in age-appropriate lesson plans that nurture children\'s growth and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Encourage social interaction and cooperation among students to foster a sense of community.
• Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their growth and development.
• Communicate openly and regularly with the head and teacher about their child’s progress and challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Maintain a clean and organised classroom environment.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
• Help teachers during mealtime
• Monitor children in the play area and organise the play activities
• Assist the head in planning outdoor activities and support with art creations
• Assist the admin with managing the transport and attendance
• Actively involved in the pick-up/drop -off services
• Manage the health and safety guidelines and ensure the cleaning staff have fulfilled the daily routine checklist

Qualifications:

• Any bachelor\'s degree, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Strong understanding of childhood development theories and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM
